Milton Keynes/Web studio

Websites that do the work

Custom-coded sites for local businesses — bookings, shops, quotes — and every one ships with its own app, so you can run it from your pocket.

MK · The name

Milton Keynes is stitched together by miles of red paths — the redways. They connect every corner of the city to every other corner.

That's the job description. We connect businesses to their customers. Follow the red path.

V1 · The work

Eight businesses.
Eight different faces.

Every one of them built from scratch around the business — its own design, its own code — then handed over with the keys.

My Baby Cuddles

A GOTS-certified babywear brand, moved off a rented platform and onto its own shop. Four hand-drawn characters run through everything, the whole site speaks six languages, and expectant parents build a baby gift registry their friends buy from directly — the first we've shipped. The owner runs it from his phone: change a price and the shop updates, press once and the right postage label is bought with the tracking saved to the order, and a week after every delivery the customer is quietly asked for an honest review.

E-commerce · Education

EduBooks

An education bookshop with a warehouse behind it. The logo is alive — its eyes wake, follow your cursor and blink — and every book is a three-dimensional object with a cover, spine and page edges that leans as you move, ready to flip and show its back as each book is photographed. Schools buy the way they already work: a trade account in two minutes, orders by purchase order, invoice to follow. Behind the shop sits real machinery — one stock count feeding the website, eBay and Amazon; listings drafted for approval, never published blind; a returns desk that inspects, refunds and restocks in one motion; an AI voice agent answering the phone line — and a Blender-built mascot who turns up to help when a page can't be found.

Social Blume

A London social media agency that films restaurants deserved a site that moves like their reels — so the homepage opens on their own cinematic footage and scrolls through a kinetic wall of client work. Behind it, a client portal where restaurants approve content, read monthly reports and book shoot days, and an owner app where the founders run it all — with website questions buzzing their phones on Telegram.

MITA Makeup

A North London makeup artist with a printed business card and nothing else online. We drew the whole site out of that card — its serif, its circle badge, its powder palette — then built the business behind it. Brides book a date, students book a lesson slot, and every photo she uploads is watermarked in her own name before it ever reaches the server. She runs the lot from a private app on her phone: the morning's bookings, who still owes what, invoices sent as a link that opens as a printable bill, and her portfolio albums re-ordered with a thumb.

“A strategic partnership that transformed my business”

Redway Studio didn't just build me a website — they delivered a competitive advantage. The Grade Ladder platform seamlessly integrates student management, scheduling, payments and progress tracking into one elegant system.

What sets them apart is their commitment to custom development. No templates. Every feature was designed around my workflow, from interactive learning tools to a companion app that runs my entire business from my phone. Each family gets their own private portal — instantly accessible, no app store needed.

The result? Administrative tasks that once took hours now happen automatically. Parents love the professionalism. I focus on teaching.

H3 · The control room

Every website ships
with its own app.

Most designers hand you a website. We hand you the controls too — a companion app on your phone, no app store needed.

Bookings & diary

Appointments land in your app the second a customer books. Confirmations and reminders go out on their own.

Stock & products

Change a price, mark something out of stock, add a product — from the van, and the website updates instantly.

Photos & updates

Take a photo of today's job, tap upload, and it's in your website gallery before you've packed up.

Quotes, numbers & dashboard

Build a quote in a minute, send it by text or email — and a dashboard shows your month's money, jobs and reviews on one screen.

Reviews & messages

New Google review? Website enquiry? Chat message? One inbox, one buzz in your pocket.

V4 · What we build

Pick your engine.

Four shapes cover most businesses. All custom-coded — fast, secure, and impossible to mistake for a template.

Sites that win quotes

A proper local-business site with a quoting flow — the enquiry arrives structured, priced and ready to send back.

For: builders · installers · cleaners · landscapers

Something custom

For: the idea you thought was too expensive

H5 · Who it's for

Built around how
your business actually works.

Each build starts from the way you actually work — your diary, your jobs, your stock — then the design makes it look effortless.

Clinics & aesthetics

Fill the diary, keep it calm.

Look as considered as your treatments — and let clients book while you work.

  • Appointment booking with deposits
  • Price list & treatment pages
  • Reminders that cut no-shows

Live example: Luma Clinic

Teachers, tutors & coaches

Sell your hours, skip the back-and-forth.

Slots, packages and payments handled — you just show up and teach.

  • Slot booking & lesson packages
  • Private student portal — worksheets, joining link, reminders
  • Automatic confirmations & notes

Live example: Grade Ladder

Repair & call-out services

From "can you fix it?" to booked job in one tap.

Customers describe the fault, attach a photo, pick a slot. You wake up to a diary.

  • Fault forms with photo upload
  • Call-out booking & status updates
  • Quotes sent from your phone

Built on the quote flow behind NBC

Construction & trades

Win bigger jobs with a proper shopfront.

Thirty years of good work deserves better than a Facebook page.

  • Project galleries updated from site
  • Written quotes that look serious
  • Reviews collected after every job

Lead-gen & B2B services

V7 · 3D & AR

Let people pick the product up.

Online, a customer can’t turn a product over, check the base, or judge how big it really is. That doubt is where sales get lost and returns get made. Drag the bottle — it is a real 3D model on a normal web page, and on a phone it will stand on your desk in AR.

Drag to rotate · scroll to zoom

One model replaces a reshoot. New colourway or a new label? We swap the material instead of rebooking the photographer.

Real size, in their room. On a phone, AR puts it on the actual worktop at true scale — size surprises are a common reason things come back.

Nothing to install. It is a web component on your existing product page, and it falls back to a still image if anything fails.

Best for products people judge physically — cosmetics, homeware, furniture, fabricated parts, signage. Less use for soft goods that drape, and we will tell you so.

H7 · After launch

A pretty site nobody finds is a poster in a drawer.

Launch day is the start. Everything on the right is part of the job, not an upsell surprise.

SEO — and AI search

Proper titles, structured data, sitemaps and speed scores search engines reward — plus the clean markup that gets you cited by Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT, and Search Console watched weekly.

Google Business Profile

Set up or rescued, filled properly, wired to your site — so you show up on the map when someone nearby searches.

Reviews that work for you

Trustpilot and Google reviews collected automatically after each job or order, and shown on your site where they convert.

Email on your own domain

[email protected] — set up, routed to the inbox you already use, with the catch-alls and auto-replies done right.

Hosting, care & numbers

Fast UK hosting, SSL, daily backups, uptime monitoring — and a monthly note in plain English about what your site actually did.

V9 · Referrals

Know a business
that needs one? £50 each.

Most of our work arrives because someone told someone else. So when you send us a business and they go ahead, we say thank you properly — to both of you.

£50 For you Credited the day their site goes live. It covers a month of care and hosting with change to spare, or comes off your own build if you are not on a plan yet.
£50 For them The business you sent gets the same, so you are handing them something worth having rather than just passing on a phone number.

No limit on how many you refer. Nothing to sign up for and no codes to remember — just tell us who sent you when you get in touch, and we will sort it once their site is live.

V4 · Getting started

You get a checklist,
not a shopping list.

The worst part of having a website built is being asked for twenty things by email over three weeks. We do it differently.

  1. One private link, no passwordIt opens your checklist. Only the things your build actually needs — nothing generic.
  2. Every item says whyAnd how to get it. The bits people find fiddly, like connecting phone alerts, are four numbered steps with the box right there.
  3. Do it in bitsIt saves as you go and tells you roughly how long is left. Two minutes on the bus counts.
  4. We never chase youWe can see what has landed. If something is holding the build up, you get one nudge listing only what is missing.

Bank details are stored for your invoices and never shown on your public site. We will never ask for a password or a card number — and neither will anything we build you.

The client portal: setup checklist, monthly plan invoices filed automatically, and change requests marked received and done
Your portal — checklist, invoices, and a place to ask for changes.

H10 · Straight answers

Before you get
in touch.

How much does a website cost at Redway Studio?

Fixed prices, published openly: a custom-designed website is £795, a website with a booking or quoting system plus a companion admin app is £1,495, and a full online shop starts at £2,495. Optional care and UK hosting is £39/month, cancel anytime.

What is the companion app that comes with every website?

Every Redway Studio website ships with its own admin app — a web app that installs to your phone's home screen, with no app store involved. Owners manage bookings, stock, prices, job photos and quotes from their phone, and see their month's numbers on one dashboard.

Do I own my website?

Yes — the domain, the code and the content are yours from day one. You can leave at any time and take everything with you.

Where is Redway Studio based?

Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire — named after the city's redways, the red paths that connect the whole city. We work with businesses across the UK.

How long does a website take to build?

You see a real moving homepage design within days of the first free 15-minute call, and most sites go live within a few weeks — domain, email on your own domain, Google set up and the app on your home screen.

What happens after the site goes live?

Launch day is the start, not the end. SEO, Google Business Profile and review collection are part of the build, and the optional £39/month care plan covers fast UK hosting, SSL, daily backups, security updates, uptime monitoring, small content edits within 24 hours and a plain-English monthly report.

Do I need to be technical to run it?

No. The app is built for a phone in one hand — tap to confirm a booking, change a price or upload a photo. If you would rather not touch it at all, clients on the care plan send us small changes and we make them within 24 hours.

Will my website be found on Google and AI search?

That is part of the job. Every build ships with proper titles, structured data, a sitemap and the speed scores search engines reward, plus the clean markup that gets a business cited by Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT — and Google Business Profile set up so you appear on the map when someone nearby searches.

V10 · End of the path

Got a business? Let's make it look like it.

Tell us what you do in one sentence. We'll reply with ideas, straight pricing and no hard sell — usually same day.

Opens in your email app — nothing stored, no mailing lists, no hard sell.

Prefer direct?

Email [email protected] — replies usually same day.

Free 15 minutes

Every project starts with a free 15-minute chat. No slides, no jargon — just what would move the needle for you.

You keep everything

Domain, code, content — yours from day one. If we ever part ways, it all goes with you.
