3D product design and Blender examples

A customer online cannot turn a product over, check the base, or judge how big it really is. A 3D viewer lets them spin it, look at every side and — on a phone that supports it — place it in the room. Below are four real examples we have built, shown as they would appear on a product page.

MITA Makeup — serum bottle. A bottle built in Blender, shown as a spin-able model. Cosmetics are judged on the bottle, and a flat photo cannot show its finish, proportion or how it sits in the hand.

Drag or use the arrow keys to rotate a loaded model, and scroll to zoom. AR opens only on phones and tablets whose device and browser support it. The Blender render and the Pip turntable are in How we build them below.

A serum bottle modelled and rendered in Blender. It shows the shape, finish and label of a cosmetics product from every side.

Hybrid scene

EduBooks — coursebook & Pip

A simple coursebook mockup combined with Pip, the EduBooks mascot, which was built in Blender. Both sit together in one scene at relative size.

How we build them

We model products and characters in Blender, and build lightweight packaging and material previews for the web. A still image appears first; choose the interactive view to explore every angle.

Questions buyers ask

Does AR work on every phone?

No. AR depends on the device, operating system and browser — recent iPhones and many Android phones support it, but not all do. Where it is unavailable, the model still spins in the browser.

Is the size exact?

The example sizes are set to look true to life, but we do not treat them as a measured size guide. For products where fit matters, sizes are agreed from your own dimensions before use.

Does it slow the page down?

A still image appears first. The interactive viewer and model load only when you choose Load interactive 3D.

Do we keep the model?

Yes. You own the exported model and can reuse it on your site, in social clips or in print. It is not locked to one platform.
