Redway Studio Postiz: data deletion

Last updated 2 October 2026.

Redway Studio Postiz is our private, self-hosted social account management app, operated by Redway Studio — Armin Shirazi, sole trader, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom. This page explains how to request manual deletion of data held in the workspace.

1. Revoke platform access

You can revoke the app's permissions in your Facebook or Instagram account settings, or the equivalent connected-app settings on another platform. This stops the permissions you revoke; it does not by itself erase data already stored in our workspace. Disconnecting or deleting an item within Postiz also does not necessarily erase its stored records.

2. Request deletion from our workspace

Email [email protected] with the subject Redway Studio Postiz data deletion. Include:

Never send passwords, access tokens or refresh tokens. We will ask only for the information necessary to confirm your authority over the affected account and the scope of the request.

What happens next

Once the request is verified, we stop the affected scheduled activity and review and remove connection credentials, account identifiers and related drafts and media within the verified scope. We check shared records so that another account's data is not removed by mistake.

We respond without undue delay, normally within one month. If a lawful exception or extension applies, we explain it in our response. We also explain any backup copies that must remain restricted pending removal; we do not promise immediate erasure of every backup copy.

This is a manual request process. Removing data from our workspace does not remove posts already published on a social platform, or copies held by others. Use the platform's own controls to remove published posts and contact it about data it holds.

See our privacy notice for your rights and complaint options, or the ICO's guidance on deletion requests.
